Full coverage is when you have collision, comprehensive, and liability on your own car. If you lack the collision and comprehensive, you may be able to add it for an additional fee, check with your agent to make sure.

Of course, the car rental agency will also have your credit card already charged or authorized for a large deposit, sometimes $2,500 to $10,000, depending on the car and your insurance coverage. They will use this deposit to pay for all of your charges for the rental, any damages, fuel and other fees, then quickly refund the rest.

Some credit cards also offer rental car insurance coverage and that can be a good deal. Check with your card company, but the most likely is American Express, as they have rental car coverage for a fairly low price that can overlap your regular insurance for more complete coverage.

Depending on the situation, when you want to rent a Bugatti in Miami, Florida, most likely they'll be able to deliver that car to your home, office, airport or hotel, as long as you give them plenty of warning and they'll need a window of time for best results.

One stickler that most companies won't budge from is that they don't like third party pickups, they want to see you when they drop off the keys, no exceptions. This helps eliminate all kinds of fraud, deception, drunks, and other problems for them.
